October 2008 Grassroots Clippings newsletter
Blanket zoning of nonconforming lots in the Chippewa
Lake area had been discussed with
both the Board of Zoning Appeals and the Zoning Commission. In reply to the BZA’s request to the
Prosecutor’s Office regarding any input/suggestions for handling this matter
Assistant Prosecutor Thorne suggested that the first step before determining
what approach might be better for the township would be to determine how many
such lots might be affected. The zoning
inspector and/or secretary will contact MCDPS to obtain a map of the areas in
question so that determination can be made.
